Welcome to my stop on the blog tour for youth author McKenzie Wagner's new middle grade fantasy Benotripia: The Rescue, first in a planned trilogy. McKenzie is now eleven years old, but wrote her first complete stories when she was seven. Her previous titles include The Magic Meadow & the Golden Locket and The Blue Lagoon & the Magic Coin in The Magic Wall series which are now available in one book from Tate Publishing.

McKenzie writes with great imagination and scope. Her dialogue moves the story forward and her crisp descriptions make the story easy to visualize. This first installment in the Benotripia series is a great family read aloud or personal read for middle-grade readers (~ages 8-13). It promises more magic to come and I'm looking forward to book 2.
