Prolific sci-fi & fantasy author Anne Inez McCaffrey passed away Monday, Nov. 21st. She has written too many books for me to list, but someone did make a list which you can find HERE, including the young adult series Acorna: The Unicorn Girl.Though I've never read her books (bad on me!), I am very familiar with them from my sister who read Anne's books voraciously when she was younger. She (my sister) is a great artist and drew a ton of incredibly detailed dragon pictures based on McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern books (sadly, I don't have a drawing to show you!). I even remember her writing stories reminiscent of Pern; Anne McCaffrey was that inspiring.
